Actually the PAK-FA has both the Indians and the Pakistani's working on it.

Personally I'd be worried. Sukhoi actually can make decent aircraft.

I think there are 2 reasons for this: first, I think the US has a lot more commercial satellites. Companies actually want their satellites to work so they fail less often than the pieces of shit the Russians put up. Second, it takes time and money to calculate a safe burn in of failed satellites, and they can't just let their shit fall wherever because that might start a war. The US is willing to do this; the Russians probably don't care.

Nigeria's existing satellites have been launched by China and Russia.

NigeriaSat-1 was the first, launched by Russia in 2003.

NigCOMSAT-1 was the second, launched by China in 2007 and failed later that year and was shut down. More or less NigCOMSAT was just a reused Chinese communications bird that was way out of date and really didn't work right from day one.

And nope, it really is called NigCOMSAT.
