reccommend me some rear speakers

I'm planning on running a 5.1 system, and i currently have some infinity floor speakers for the front, a high end wharfedale center... I've had them for a while now, and can't remember the models, but they are fairly high end. the receiver is a lower-end yamaha, 100watts per channel. i have a sub, but i think its bad... it has high or low level inputs, and no matter which way i hook it up, no sound comes out, which leads me to think that it isn't the receiver (but it could be)

so basically i need a sub and rears, and i'm a fuckin cheapskate. as close to free as possible

I'm partial to JL subs, I have a sealed 10" W3 in my car and I love it.

I guess I should have read your post

I really like cerwin vega subs, but they're a little pricey.

and why not stick with infinities for the rear?

id go with a pair of yamaha rears and a yamaha sub. id recommend klipsch or JBL but they will go over your price tag

thought about it... the alphas are basically impossible to find since they were discontinued. there are betas, but IIRC, they aren't nearly as good.

high end infinity

low end infinity
