Bose home theater system

Does anyone on here have one? Just wondering how much you like it and if its worth the money

we have one at home. its an old accoustimast which is fuckin awesome, and i just got some shelf speakers to add to the system. its FUCKING LOUD. and clear as fuck. get one.

Bose is great, but not the best bang for your buck...it's like Apple, half the money is for the name

Look into a company called KEF speakers, my dad has a pair that are twenty years old and can still beat the shit out of most speakers today.

bill, they are great, but not worth the money at all IMO.

unless you are a hardcore audiophile.. you wont notice the differences between the bose and a $200 system.

True, depends on what you need. For example, I bought a Sony shelf system for 200, it included a subwoofer and puts out 400 watts of power. Works perfect and sounds sexy as hell...makes the fucking walls shake.

Bose is the most overpriced under performing speakers on the market. They sound good, but yet for cheaper something much better sounding could be had. See bose speakers are clear, but since they are so small they lack in certain frequency ranges. they are much better alternatives to bose for the same money or cheaper.

My dad has had 3 bose systems and all were great. Nice clarity and bass. right now he went with the 2.1 system and it still sounds as good as the other 5.1 bose systems.

i dont know about the whole system, but i had one of the wave radios you plug your ipod into and that thing was little but the sound was great
