Bose is great, but not the best bang for your buck...it's like Apple, half the money is for the name
![]() Look into a company called KEF speakers, my dad has a pair that are twenty years old and can still beat the shit out of most speakers today.

True, depends on what you need. For example, I bought a Sony shelf system for 200, it included a subwoofer and puts out 400 watts of power. Works perfect and sounds sexy as hell...makes the fucking walls shake.

Bose is the most overpriced under performing speakers on the market. They sound good, but yet for cheaper something much better sounding could be had. See bose speakers are clear, but since they are so small they lack in certain frequency ranges. they are much better alternatives to bose for the same money or cheaper.
