You get a 360, if it red rings that's what the warranty is for. I am sure by now the "newer" Xbox 360's are less prone to this. Jesus on ice skates I have had mine almost 3-years now and play a lot with no issues....well I also modded mine so.

I have had 1 RRod in a history of about 6 Xboxes and Microsoft replaced it for free.

If you keep the box cooled and don't carry it under your arm while you skateboard to your ass-partner's house for a LAN party it will NOT red ring.
