Hydroponic herbs, fruits and vegetables...
So while I've been home sick the last few days, I saw this info-mercial about the Aero-Garden. They didn't give a price, so I had to check out their website. I checked out the site and it has nothing buy great reviews. I'm sure the college kids aren't really growing strawberries in it, but from everything I read, it really works well. Basically, you plant the seeds and it does all the rest. It has a microchip that monitors when to water and add nutrients. For anyone who likes fresh vegetables or cooks with fresh herbs, but don't have a lot of space outside to do it, this could be a good way grow your own.

The $200 model actually raises in height as the "strawberry" plant grows so the light is above it continuously. I might end up getting one for Christmas if Santa makes them. ![]() Oh, this is in Health and Nutrition, not Drugs and Alcohol..... ![]() |
