Stretching?
What are the "experts" opinions on stretching? How often and when?
Any good links to some stretches? I know a good amount but i dont think its something that people do enough personally.

From what I gather it's never a bad thing. I don't think you can overstretch. And if you do I suppose you would have pulled something and would feel it right away. But isn't the stretching a preventative for pulling something ? So gotta be the right way to go.

I don't usually. I did hear that stretching after a down period is good though. But this was with running. I learned most this in high school though playing sports so who really knows if half of it is true.

You should stretch before a work out. You can stretch after as well. it is a great habit to get into. You will reduce the possiablity of injury. If you don't stretch your tendons/muscles are tight and take longer to warm up. You should stretch.

You want to stretch the muscles a little bit before working out, but it should be a gentle stretch since your muscles aren't warmed up. Ideally, you want a light stretch first, then do some light cardio exercises to warm up the muscles, then do a more full stretch. After that, do your workout, followed by a cool down stretch.
