Samsung Behold

i was thinking about how stupid i would be for buying an i touch instead of an actual phone with the multimedia that is equivalant (not fully though) but will give me what i want instead of having a sidekick, i touch. i can just have it all in one.

what do you guys think of it? i just got done ordering it a few minutes ago.

meh, tmobile phones always look decent until you get them...i have the dash and its garbage...my phone before was garbage...and the one before that was trash. im just not a fan of their phones

but let me know how it is when you get it, it looks decent and id love to have them actually come up with something tolerable, as i need to get a new phone soon.

i currently have there sidekick, had it for about 2 years now. i like it, just after two years it looks great but a few buttons aren't working now, my down scroll doesn't work, the scroll button to push down doesn't work, but! it will scroll up, etc. and the camera is a 1.3 (talk about noise in a picture, sheesh!)

the Behold has a 5 megapixel camera, email, text etc. everything i would want and need. so i like the sidekick, now if i can have it with everything like the sidekick but a little better, i'll be happy.

do you mean iPhone? not to burst your bubble but the behold/omnia does not compare to the iphone in terms of overall functionality despite camera quality and lack of certain mutimedia functions.

also, did you even go out and handle the phone before your purchase?

i was saying that i was getting an i touch for the media and i still have my sidekick. but my sidekick is wearing pretty good so i decided to go with the Behold because its what i wanted in 2 devices but now in one.

edit: no i didn't try it but i have many friends that have the G1 a cousin has one, my exbabe has an iphone, and my one boy has another touch phone from verizon (forgot the name of it) and its pretty damn cool. i'll be alright with it.

i also found this quite interesting. how the Behold is quicker than the iphone. (yes i know, location may vary speeds. but in NY (not far from me) is pretty quick on 3G)

Please tell me your kidding me... t-mobile 3G? You mean the one frequency that fails miserably? If your sticking w/ t-mobile the G1 is the best option. The behold doesn't hold a candle to the iPhone sorry.
