Need vid card help...
So fallout 3 comes out in 2 weeks and I want to spruce up my rig.
Currently: AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 dual-core processor 3800+ (2.0 Ghz x 2) 2GB's (4x 512mb) 400 MHz (PC3200) DDR memory GeForce 7950 GT KO (512) 550w PSU Full spec list here: ???????????????? Anywho, was planning on swapping out my 512's for 1g's from G skill Newegg.com - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory And now the problem lies in what video card to get... Was thinking GeForce 9800 or some derivative of that. Open to suggestions, looking to keep it at or below $200'ish. Can't do it. I'm a fallout fan since number 1 so I think it NEEDS to be played on the PC. Besides that, they made it into a semi-FPS and IMO FPS are meant to be played with a keyboard and a mouse. Besides, the PC needs an upgrade anyway, FO3 is just the catalyst.

Alrighty, thanks for the input guys. I'm glad you guys turned me on to the 4850 because the 9800GTX needs 2 6 pin PCI-E power inputs and I only have 1. Looks like the 4850 is the way to go.

Thanks. Ordered one from newegg with a cooler so big it needed an extra slot...
A slot I didn't have, FUCK. So now I get to pay to ship it back plus a $30 restocking fee, but the good news is I have another one on the way!! ^_^
