Apple Care

iPhone just took another shit on me, it's been about two hours and I've had no luck getting it past the apple screen where as it worked last night. I don't have Apple Care and was wondering what my options were. As of now it just stops at the apple.

That's the problem, I can't even get the computer to recognize it. It doesn't turn off at will, even with home and sleep button simultaneously, when it randomly cuts on the apple logo shows up and then the spinning cycle spins about 3 times then freezes there...doesn't advance past that. Is there another way I can get it into that mode? Possibly a utility? If I want it to cut off I have to press home and sleep for about 30 seconds like twice but the damn thing wont stay off. It cuts right back on.

Oh, I know. I'm also sure it's Not in DFU mode. I can't control it anymore, I know you have to press home and sleep till it shuts off and hold down the home button but the problem is holding down home and sleep does nothing, it wont turn off. Apple logo just stays there and when it turns off on it's own 4 minutes later it turns back on, as if it was only rebooting.

are you following the steps as such?

1. Hold the sleep/wake button + the home button until it turns off then release before it turns back on.

2. Plug the dock into the compute and have iTunes running.

3. HOLD the home button on the iPhone, while holding it, connect the iPhone onto the dock and CONTINUE to hold the home button until the CONNECT TO ITUNES DISPLAY APPEARS.

4. iTunes will recognize this and ask if you would like to restore it. Click restore. Then choose to restore from backup.

if this doesn't work, take it to the genius bar and see if they can help with the problem or just replace the phone.

Yeah, tried all of that and the phone is not being recognized by the computer at all, hence I can't do anything. I may try taking it to the genius bar tomorrow, problem is it's jailbroken. I heard that's taboo to them.

Cable works. Problem is trying to get into DFU when the pc won't recognize it yet. Which won't happen because it just reboots
