never pay for app store apps EVAR!!

i dont like paying for stuff. recently i found out that ppl are running cracked apps on their iphones/ipods. since apple doesnt check whether the apps you have installed on your ipod/iphone were bought thru the apps store, one can have as many cracked apps as they want.

there are a few catches though:
-you need to be running itunes 7.7.0 or lower (ive heard it works on itunes 8 but when i tried it it didnt work for me)

-your iphone/ipod needs to be jailbroken with ssh installed

-you need to know how to ssh onto your iphone/ipod

other than that its a relatively simple process and the cracked apps even integrate and install though itunes like the legit ones.

I have a huge file of cracked apps as well but it's bit of a pain in the ass to deal with so I don't bother uploading them to my iphone. You can't upload updates for apps which happens pretty frequent, after every FW upgrade you have to reinstall them, many are known to crash & brick your iphone. It's not worth it for me.

I've only paid for a few apps such as Beejive, Supermonkeyball (because of the hype), Asphalt 4 & a solitaire game a while back. I've spent more in the past on crappy games on my verizon phones when I was with them so it's no biggie for me.

while beejive is awesome, theres no way in hell im gonna pay 16 for it, epecially since i only own an ipod touch. the few apps i havee, force unleashed, holdem, beejive, beatmaker,nyc subway. work just fine. i dont plan on upgrading my firmware any time soon. unless they release that copy paste feature. and installing the apps is as easy as hitting the sync button on itunes. there was no down side for me but to each his own i guess.
