Hmm. Looks to be about the size of my Curve but all screen.

I'd have to look at it and molest it before I made any judgments.

It's definitely an interesting phone. I'm more curious to see how Verizon cripples the UI as compared to Vodaphone who uses GSM in Europe & allows the phone to work the way it's supposed to. I still think the fact that the screen is "push in" is kinda eery.

hum...still don't know how i feel about this.

i love that it does both voice and data at the same time now, that's awesome. but does it really put that stupid red circle where you touch? and i'm not sure how much of a failure rim's first attempt at a touchscreen is going to be considering that they can't even build a trackball to last longer than like a year.

Yea I believe it does. It's supposed to be a 'tactible' touch screen where you actually push in. I really have to see how this works out in person.

LOL @ the trackball. That problem was infamous on the 1st Pearl & older Curves. A common problem is dust gets in there easily so I tell people to spray with an air can. Happened to my wife's Pearl & it worked for her.

I'm sad that their build quality for their consumer equipment isn't nearly as good as their corporate gear. My 8703e was built like a truck compared to my 8330. Weighs as much as a truck too, however.

I like it, but would be interested in trying it first. IMO this will be the best phone Verizon will have to offer.

I've had my 8310 now for almost 19 months and never had an issue with the trackball. Especially since the 4.5 firmware was released.
