AT&T BlackBerry Bold Pushed Back to September(ish)

First it was July, then mid-August, but now BlackBerryNews is pegging the AT&T BB Bold with a launch date around September 1, contingent on how quick they can train personnel on the phone. The Bold was also supposed to release first on Rogers today, but that has been pushed back to July 29. [BlackBerryNews]

i dont get why people want this phone so hard.

it looks like they took the keypad from an 8700 (turned it black) and stuck it on a blackberry curve....

They're probably going to put it out at the same time/around the same time as when the Thunder comes out I bet. The thunder is scheduled for Septemberish as well.

Didn't I post this somewhere before? Anyhow, it's getting very annoying w/ the push back. At first I assumed it was the 3G battery since blackberry is pretty anal about releases but it's more than likely because of the iPhone 3G. I would say the smoke settles about Sept which gives the Bold that much more hype when it's released.

BTR, it's hyped up because it's the 1st BB to have 3G, Wi-Fi, new OS & pretty slick design all together. Blackberry was never known for caring about look & media function. You were lucky to have a color screen just a couple years ago on a blackberry.

i heard the thunder was pushed back to maybe october or later due to it sucking at life. apparently the touchscreen is so bad that internally people think it's a joke. it's supposedly no where near release, they're saying 4-5 months minumum.

at&t sucks for pushing back the bold like this for the freaking iphone. fawk apple.
