1) Why does only the left speaker work on the bottom of the phone, is my iPhone defective?
There is only one speaker at the bottom. The right part is actually the microphone.

2) Which do I need, the $30 Data Plan or the $45 Data Plan?
The $30 plan is for standard consumer accounts. The $45 is for Corporate/Business accounts. Sponsorship and FAN accounts fall under 'consumer' btw.

3) Will my Dock from my first phone fit with the new 3G?
Apple redesigned the device and unfortunately the two are not compatible.

4) Does the iPhone 3G have MMS, Copy/paste, or video recording, unlike its predecessor?
At this time, these features still have not been implemented.

5) Do FAN discounts now apply to the 3G?
This still is not completely certain one way or the other. Things still appear to be fuzzy on this question. Details hopefully will emerge once bills start being produced...

6) Is my Unlimited usage for Data really 'Unlimited'?
Information on AT&T's Terms and Conditions can be read here. Note that there is verbiage in there stating a 5GB cap, which really should be hard to hit unless you're tethering... and that's for another entire topic.

7) Where can I sign up for the Free 60-Day Trial for MobileME?
You can find the signup site here.

8) Can I order the iPhone online through Apple or AT&T?
Not at this time. You could order through Apple with the first gen so this might be an option later.

9) Where can I check availability of the iPhone at Apple stores?
Here - this will only be updated after 9PM and before stores open in the morning.

10) Can I find any additional information or reviews on Applications from the App Store?
You can check here as they're constantly updating their opinions of various applications.

11) Where can I find information about the free Wifi service that we get from AT&T at locations such as Starbucks?

12) It's taking forever to backup my iPhone when doing a sync in iTunes, is my phone defective?
This is a common issue and believed to be caused due to the various applications you may have downloaded from the App Store. You can click the small X if you want to bypass the backup.

13) How do I restart my phone if it locks up?
Hold down the Home button along with the top Power/sleep button for 12 seconds.

14) Where can I test my data speeds, it seems slow?
iPhonespeedtest seems to be pretty good. You can also try here.

15) My battery life seems horrible, is my phone defective?
Most batteries need a few full charge cycles to get optimum efficiency out of them. Be aware that like most 3G devices, excessive use will play a part along with extended wifi use. Disabling these can improve performance greatly.

16) How can I disable/enable 3G or Wifi?
3G - Settings > General > Network > Enable 3G
Wifi - Settings > Wifi

17) Is there a way to change my text messaging and/or email tones?
Not at this time.

18) How can I change or import custom ring tones?
There are various ways by searching Google but one popular method is using iRinger which can be found here.

19) Where can I find information for becoming a iPhone Developer?

IRU/CRU aka FAN aka company discounts are allowed on 3G iphone data plans.

Flip the switch on top of the volume controls to switch between vibrate/silent & sound.

Hold the home button & flip the vibrate/silent switch and you will perform a screen shot that will save to your camera roll.

Double tap the home button & you can control either Favorites or iPod player. If your iPhone is in the Lock screen, double tap the home button & you can play music from the iPod. Also works while browsing Safari.

Tap the top of the screen while browsing Safari & the screen will scroll all the way to the top.

Press & hold keys while typing text or email & the option to use special characters will pop up. Also if you press & hold .com in safari .org, .edu & .net become available.

You can have up to 9 pages to switch from on the main screen.

While browsing safari you can now click on a YouTube click and it will automatically open to play in YouTube.

Great Stuff Hozay. I need to get another case for my phone what do you think is the best one out there? I want a hard case cause I want it go be easy to get in and out of my pocket.. I am going to check out the Contour Flick case.
