er wait, if i choose 700 minutes i pay $130 for unlimited data and then i have to add on the unlimited text which is $30? so $160 a month? can my other line not be unlimited data to save me money?

these plans are working on the assumption that you have two iphones. if you have one iphone and a regular phone then the rates are different (it's 9.99 for an extra line). are you going to have two or one iphone?

then it should be the regular rates. if you do a 700 minute plan it's $69.99 for the two lines. then you need the $30 iphone plan for unlimited data for you, and you can choose to have unlimited texting for another $20. so it's a minimum of $120 for iphone service, plus whatever your wife wants on her phone (data, texting, etc).
