Khumo's new 385/15/22

385/15

Slap that on your ZR-1 and run the ring lol.

Cereal though, that beast is insane. 50% shorter than a 275/40... dear lord.

It just seems like a particularly useless tire. 15" wide for extreme traction lol. With a sidewall that short, it's got to be ultra stiff. I can't imagine it being a very good tire for traction, but still interesting none the less.

I think the fact that it comes in 22" as it's smallest size obviously limit's it's use too. But I digress, if it's designed for ZR-1's and Vipers, then let it be.

the people that put 22s on their vipers, vettes, or f430s are doing it for looks, not performance, so it's insignificant that a 15-series tire will provide nominal upper-extreme performance.

i don't think it's useless.

it's designed for the vipers, and those guys can afford it...

This is true, but the article kinda makes it seem like they are supposed to offer good traction...

they already have zero traction on 345/30/20s, so if anything, they will lose even more traction with the 385s. if you really needed that much traction though, there are still many options, albeit not DOT-legal. my Z06 w2w racer has pirelli pzero slicks - 15in wide also, but only on an 18in wheel.
