So I woke up at 7am and was at Robs house by 8. We had robs assistant drive us to the airport where we took off to vegas.
Nick picked us up on a phantom and took us to the dealership
When we arrived we were greeted by the staff and 2 bugatti specialists who were flown out to go over the car.
After about 2 hours of going over the car and dealing with a huge insurance battle (apparently after you pass over the $1mill mark it becomes a huge deal rightfully so since the veyron cost around 2mill$ after taxes and all the BS.
We then left the dealership and went to the vinitian pilatzo and had a nice lunch with some friends
(leaving the dealership)
After lunch we hit the road. We had one of the main salesmen and his friend who is a lambo owner follow us in a big truck with fuel 100+octane in the back since the car requires it and there are no 100+ pumps on the way back.
Personally, I had an idea of what to expect on the ride back since I have been in just about every super car there is and driven most of them but I was pleasantly surprised to say I have NEVER been in anything like the bugatti. The sheer power of the car is insane. It can pick you up from 100 to 200 in SECONDS and it never stops giving power, ever.
There was a data logger that I played with in the car on a palm pilot with navigation and all types of statistical info on the car as it changes such as oil tempe, coolant, tire press, and many other crucial readings. I had no idea the car came with those extras as Im sure not many other people realize either.
We did launches, rolls, at various speeds including runs past 200.
Congrats to Rob on his awesome purchase, it was quite an experience to pick this car up with him.
