Ducati dumps the 748 and brings in the 848

Cliff notes:

it is only available in biposto,
there is no S or R for 2008 just the base model,
it will cost $12,900 in USA ($22,500 AUD and 13,500 Euro in Europe
It will weigh 3kg less than the 1098
It will have 137 PS and 95NM
It will have a wet clutch and dealers will get them in December 07 with delivery not before Jan 2008.
It will be available in white with a red or black frame.
