So I bought a bike today

I used to ride in races and marathons but got out of them for a while but decided recently to start back up.

I'm psyched.

Got it for a steal too. Retails for $2100 without pedals. I got it with Shimano 105 gearset and Look pedals for $1499.

Nice bike man. I just picked up a new trek a couple weeks ago, but its a mountain bike. I'm kinda thinking I should have got a road bike instead, because so far it has all been road. These 2" wide MTB tires aren't all that great for road riding

I have plans to hit up bald eagle state park later this month though, so we will see. If that trip goes well then, I will probably make it a weekly thing.

I have been off of bikes for about 12 years, but since July 7th I have put about 80 miles on it. I think I will take a day off tomorrow though because my legs are killing me.

Tonight on my way home from work I took a different route that has 2 long gradual climbs, and 2 short, steep climbs. On the downhill side of the one short steep climb is a pretty long steep descent. I hit 42mph till I got to the bottom of the hill :yay: That was a blast, but I got a little ill when I got home. Being in a hot truck for 7 hours and then pumping my ass off up those hills did me in. Especially since it was still in the 90's.
