Isn't that what a kickstand is for?

kickstand sucks compared to this thing
you can knock a bike over when on a sidestand or centerstand with relative ease
this thing, you can do it if you really REALLY REALLY try, but you'd have to be insane.
also when you put it on a trailer or a truck bed it makes the bike WAY more stable for transport and you don't have to cinch down the suspension to keep the bike from moving around.
finally if you've ever owned a bike you know how much room a bike takes up when it's leaning over on a sidestand. this makes the bike take up less room. I can now more easily get my bike in and out of my shed without bumping or banging into things since I no longer have to come in on an angle to compensate for the lean over on the sidestand.

I'm amazed bike shops don't invest in a bunch of these.
it'd make the arrangement of the bikes far neater on the floor and you'd have less potential for nig nogs coming in and knocking one over when trying to sit on it.
plus they'd probably sell one for ever 2 or 3 bikes that go out the door if they were demo'ed like that.

hahahahahahaha you paid $235 for a wheel stand?!?

you can get a fucking set of fork and swingarm stands for $100, which are much more portable and easier to use than that ugly piece of crap. and just as safe and reliable.

if you're referring to one of these, you're dead wrong:

so you're saying you'd just put the bike on that fancy wheel stand and not strap it down? ya, real smart.

it takes TWO straps to fully secure a bike to a trailer/truck. damn that's so much hassles. instead, i should first bring that huge wheel stand to the truck/trailer and then carefully guide the bike onto it. then i will leave it just like that because it's so extremely secure...

wrong and wrong.
fork and swingarm stands require you to get off the bike, jockey said stands into place, then pray the bike doesn't topple as you engage them.
you just roll into this thing and it grabs the tire and you're done.
