yea fuck that. you know this shit is gonna get out of hand cause people are gonna bitch and moan at every questionable play. im fuckin pissed. they have umpires for a reason, to make the calls. theyve been fucking up calls for hundreds of years, its human error and is to be expected when you step on the field. fuck all this camera bullshit

i just saw an angels game where the 1st base umpire CLEARLY missed a Foul ball that he called a homerun. He had a meeting with the other ump's, and home plate umpire and 2nd base umpire told him he fucked it up. Call overturned.

I see what you're saying but the CLOSEST umpire to the call fucked it up, it happens. So why not try to fix it.

If they start using them for close calls at the plate or bases i'll be pissed. that's not what this rule was meant to do

ehhhh.. its going to lengthen games a bit I think. How are they doing it? Someone in a booth watching and will radio the call? If they do it that way, instead of taking 20 minutes per call like in football (although it happens only a few times a game in football), then it might be good. How often is it going to be used?

i know its not. but you cant possibly think that they're only gonna use it for home runs. thats giving the players/coaches too much fuckin credit which they dont deserve, and rightly so i guess. its gonna turn into a whole sloppy mess, make games last another hour when they're already 4hrs long, and eventually ruin baseball for people cause its gonna be fuckin terrible. my negative nancy outlook on this might be fairly disturbing for some but ive been playing baseball all my life and i fuckin hate the idea of replay

truth. but i honestly dont give a fuck if steroids are being used, assuming thats what you mean. as far as the replay, when a call is questioned and being reviewed, ALL UMPIRES LEAVE THE FUCKING FIELD to review the call and the crew chief makes the final decision. i really cant fuckin believe that ALL FUCKIN UMPIRES are going to leave and not just the crew chief. this is gonna be fuckin terrible

from what i remember hearing there will be a booth similar to football where the umpires all gather to view the reply from this "booth/desk/whatever" and then the crew chief will make the final desicion. Not too sure if there will be a time limit though.
